DEATH MUST BE A GOODMAN-
ADANU MOSES
Do you now see
Can you now perceive
My very words that is now a
song
"The world is no one's
home"
We are here today and
tomorrow gone
I laid and I awoke
Morning and dawn come and go
I travel and I return
Sometimes the tire burst
Sometimes I dare say
It’s the driver's fault
But No, its Odoba's handwork
I breathe today
Death must be a goodman
For he reminds us of that
timeless truth
That our space is not vanity
proof
The wise and not the fools
Know this place is only a
route
To either eternal bliss or
doom
We gather much in the sun
Honourable titles in the rain
Only for goodman death to
claim it all
What then is for us the gain
of all our toils
When death takes it all away
If there be any good you want
to do
If there be any good you can
do
If there be any good you
should do
Do it now and not another day
For tomorrow is not yours
